Day one of our Grading weekend.
10am – Haidong Gumdo.
Whakatane and Tauranga get together for a great grading. Instructor Danyel Degenhardt was presented with his 1st Dan certificate to start the day. Both sets of coloured belts performed very well. Ashley received the award for best in grading. all on Black belt grading with Master Oh in May.
2pm – Hapkido
Hapkido Master Malcolm Wright became a fully patched member of Budo South with the presentation of his “Hoodie”. Cody van Roest did his second grading for the day, and he has another (Taekwondo) set for tomorrow.
All the walking wounded got through the experience. Nomel was the bets in grading. We train through the Break! See you Tuesday.
Day 2 of the Big Grading weekend.
Taekwondo coloured belts and Black belts.
Congratulations to all who took part. The new Black belts performed excellently.
News about start dates and who is training through the break will follow soon. Definitely Hapkido and Haidong Gumdo, on a class by class basis (stay in touch).
The end of year function was fun- great Kimchi (thank you for making so much – cabbage, pancake and rice Kimchi). Bets moment was when Savanah scored the booby prize (I had tears in my eyes from laughing so much).
